STF 239 is a binary star system located 89 light-years away from the Sun. The primary component is a main-sequence star of spectral class F7V, accompanied by a companion star of spectral class F9V.

100mm - STF 239 is located approximately 2° south-southeast of Iota Trianguli. This system is easily observable through small telescopes, situated in close proximity to the star Iota Trianguli. Even at low to moderate magnifications, the binary pair is distinguishable. At 60x, I observed two very similar stars with a yellowish tint.
