STF 1300 (HD 77175) is a physical binary system located 52 light-years away. According to the WDS, it is supposed to be a pair of red dwarfs, but most sources lean toward the version that the primary component is an orange main sequence star of spectral type K6V, with the companion being a main sequence star of spectral type K5V, making them nearly identical stars. They orbit around their common center of mass with a period of approximately 879 years.

100mm: I observed the components at a magnification of 180x. They were easily separated, and despite their low brightness, the colors were noticeable—both components appeared as dark yellow.
