STF 3060 is a physical triple system located 122 light-years from the Sun. All components are expected to be of spectral class F8 (according to WDS). Stellarium classifies components A and B as K0 and component D as F8. Components A and B form a typical close pair with a separation of 3.4". Unusually, component D is the brightest in the system (it is the brightest star in the field of view) and is located 573" away from A at a position angle of 359°. Component C is merely optical and does not physically belong to the system.

103mm: Components A and B are easily distinguishable at a magnification of approximately 160x. Component D is quite distant to the north of AB, and it may seem that it has no relation to them. I observed components A and B as white, while D appeared yellow-white.
