Seven stars around the seventh magnitude in the shape of a flying bird are located one and a half degrees southwest of Alamak. It reminded its discoverer of crows, as depicted by Vincent Van Gogh in his painting "Wheat Field with Crows."
VIC: A beautiful bird on the way from Alamak to NGC 752 and, consequently, to another asterism – the Golf Club. At first glance, it reminded me more of a seagull, but considering the "astronomical" painter (remember the unique painting "The Starry Night"), I'll stick with the crow.
