A caterpillar crawling in the Lynx constellation, about 3 degrees northwest of the star 38 Lyn. The brightest star in the hump has a magnitude of 4.7, making it an easy target in an otherwise sparse constellation. Eight stars within a diameter of just under a degree form an interesting target for any pair of binoculars.
VIC: Due to the large magnitude difference, it doesn't stand out as nicely. Especially, the humped part could be less bright for a higher rating.
