7 Sisters of the Pole

<

The False Pleiades, a not very successful imitation of the M45 star cluster in Taurus, are located in Cepheus near the celestial pole. It consists of seven stars ranging from the fourth to the sixth magnitude, forming a "small wagon." It is situated 1.5° north of the open star cluster NGC 188.

VIC: They are larger in size than the real Pleiades and, most importantly, never set. However, they cannot compare in beauty. The brightness of individual stars does not correspond to their model. Simply put, it is not a very successful copy suitable for observation only with small instruments.
