400/500mm - 17.5" (9/26/92): extremely faint, small, round, extremely low surface brightness. Located near the north end of a 10' string of faint stars oriented ~N-S. Mag 8.9 SAO 54096 lies 9' E. This galaxy is misidentified as NGC 218 in all modern catalogues. See notes for NGC 218.
