400/500mm - 17.5" (8/21/98): faint, fairly small, round, low even surface brightness, 50" diameter. Situated along the base of an isosceles triangle of mag 12-13 stars with vertices 1.4' SW, 1.9' NE and 1.3' NW. Member of the spread out group (LGG 435), which includes NGC 6906 and probably NGC 6901.
