400/500mm - 17.5" (3/12/94): moderately bright, fairly small, round, halo is weakly concentrated, very small bright core, stellar nucleus. Located between two mag 13 stars 1.6' N and 2.4' S. Brightest in a group with NGC 2809 8.6' SSE.
