Édouard Stephan discovered NGC 2476 = St IX-13 on 23 Feb 1878. His position matches UGC 4106.
400/500mm - 17.5" (2/24/90): fairly faint, fairly small, sharp concentration, stellar nucleus, slightly elongated halo. The NGC 2493/NGC 2495 pair lies 40' ESE.
