Stephane Javelle discovered IC 1384 = J. 1-432 on 6 Nov 1891. His position is ~1' too far north.

400/500mm - 18" (8/14/07): extremely faint, very small, round, 0.3' diameter, very low even surface brightness. Two mag 15.5 stars are less than 1' W and a third is a 1' NW. Located 17' N of NGC 7069.
