Bowed Chimney

< Only three double stars with a brightness around 6th magnitude form a kind of bent chimney leaning over the globular cluster M19. It has a height of about two degrees. The brightest star at the top of the chimney is 26 Oph.

VIC: With this asterism, I easily locate M19 even in a small telescope or under less favorable conditions above the horizon. Surprisingly, it hasn't fallen off yet :)
