IC37

< Arguably the most beautiful asterism in the sky! However, due to its small size, it is not very suitable for binoculars. Only owners of giant binoculars will see why the stars of the open cluster NGC 2169 were named "37". In English, it is often referred to as IC37. Not as Index Catalogue, but as I See (number) 37.

VIC: It's not worth trying with small telescopes. Even 25x100 is not enough. Magnification around 50x is a necessity. But then, the "37" will shine in its full glory. The advantage of non-inverting telescopes lies in the correct legibility of the celestial number. Along with the "E.T.," it is my favorite target.
