A large and distinct figure seven on the border of Cassiopeia and Cepheus, encompassing stars 1 and 2 Cas. With a diameter spanning over two degrees, it ranks among the more extensive asterisms, especially suitable for smaller telescopes.
VIC: Another numeral in the sky. It lacks only a straighter stroke in the middle for perfection. The surrounding stars may be bothersome, as it lies directly in the galactic equator in the main stream of the Milky Way. I'm not sure what's fortunate about it.
