Ally's, also known as Alcyone, refers to a chain of 6 stars south of the brightest Pleiad, Alcyone. Everyone has likely seen it; they just may not be aware of it. The little chain, formed by stars of magnitudes 7.0 to 8.9, is visible even in small binoculars. With larger magnifications, two additional 10th magnitude stars follow the chain.

VIC: A beautiful ribbon of similarly bright stars is immediately noticeable. At the third star from η Tau, it bends to the southwest, forming a very open letter "V". However, I can't help it; I see a peeing stick figure there, specifically, Bart Simpson, including the entire Pleiades.
