Golf Putter

< An assemblage of stars west of the open cluster NGC 752, forming the shape of a golf club. Five stars in a line constitute the club, with the binary star 56 Andromedae serving as the club's head. NGC 752 can be considered as the golf ball.

VIC: A delightful asterism for small binoculars. The binary star 56 Andromedae is a lovely yellow double (190"), and together with the somewhat larger "golf ball" represented by the otherwise relatively overlooked NGC 752, it provides an interesting region of the sky for small telescopes.
