400/500mm - 18" (7/10/10): this relatively bright UGC galaxy appeared fairly faint, fairly small, irregularly round, 0.7'x0.6' E-W. Contains a bright core that increases to a stellar nucleus. A group of 4 stars lies to the south including mag 8.3 HD 135118. Forms a pair with UGC 9750 6' N. The dimensions includes an extremely faint outer halo that was not seen visually
