400/500mm - 18" (5/8/04): faint, small, elongated nearly 2:1 ~NNW-SSE, contains a stellar nucleus. Located 11' NNE of NGC 4511. As this galaxy was comparable in brightness to NGC 4511 (immediately noticed in field) I'm surprised that neither William or John Herschel picked it up.
