900/1200mm - 48" (4/22/17): at 488x; extremely faint edge-on that required averted vision to glimpse. It was often barely perceptible as a very low surface brightness elongated glow, but a couple of times sharpened to a thin E-W spike, ~45"x6". VV 147 lies 13' NE.
