400/500mm - 18" (4/30/11): very faint, small, elongated 2:1 E-W, 0.4'x0.2' (core only viewed of this edge-on), fairly low even surface brightness. Situated between a mag 11.7 star 2.7' W and a mag 13 star 2.3' E. Picked up while viewing galaxies in the NGC 3998 group. This galaxy is 15' NW of NGC 3998.
