600/800mm - 24" (2/13/18): at 375x; fairly faint or moderately bright, oval 4:3 NNW-SSE, ~50"x35". Contains a bright core that occasionally elongates, giving the impression of a bar. A mag 10.8 star is 2' NNW and a mag 11.2 star (wide pair) is 4.3' NE. UGC 4465 lies 16' S.
