600/800mm - 24" (11/23/19): at 375x; fairly faint, small, roundish, 25" diameter (probably the core region of the galaxy), even surface brightness. A mag 14.6 star is 0.7' E of center. Located 20' ENE of NGC 1289. Part of a loose group (HDCE 0217) that includes UGC 2649 38' WNW.
