600/800mm - 24" (9/7/18): at 225x; fairly faint, small, round, 20" diameter, faint stellar nucleus. This highly studied Seyfert galaxy is squeezed between mag 8.9 HD 215126 1.0' WSW and orange-colored mag 9 SAO 90728 2.2' E. The latter star is a wide, very unequal double CHE 406 = 9.1/13.6 at 16". Also less than 1' N of the galaxy is a 13" pair of mag 13.5-14 stars.
