This barred spiral is reddened by dust in the northern reaches of the Milky Way in Cepheus.

600/800mm - 24" (7/28/19): at 200x; I immediately picked up a large, ill-defined low surface brightness glow with a small, slightly brighter central region. There was no definite edgep or the periphery was ill-defined, so it was difficult to estimate a size, but perhaps extended ~2'. Located 13' WNW of mag 5.0 16 Cephei (HD 209369), which was annoying but probably didn't affect viewing.
