600/800mm - 24" (8/12/18): at 375x; fairly faint, moderately large, fairly low surface brightness but very easy, broad concentration with a small slightly brighter core. The halo increases with averted vision to ~50". A mag 9.6 star is 2.5' ESE. CGCG 230-020 lies 14' E. Situated in a rich Cygnus star field near the Lyra border.
