600/800mm - 24" (9/5/18): at 225x; faint to fairly faint, fairly small, elongated 3:2 N-S, 25"x15", nearly even surface brightness, occasional faint stellar nucleus. UGC 10692 is a thin edge-on (5:1 axial ratio) and I only noticed the core region in a quick look, though the extensions have a very low surface brightness. Located 6' W of a mag 9.8 star.
