600/800mm - 24" (6/16/12): at 322x appeared very faint, fairly small, round, very low surface brightness. Two mag 15 stars lie just 50" S of center and 45" E of center. CGCG 252-1, a very compact but easier galaxy, lies 1.7' SSE.
