600/800mm - 24" (6/28/19): at 175x and 322x; fairly faint, moderately large, ~1' diameter, irregular appearance, brighter core, mottled, occasionally a faint knot was glimpsed at the E end. On the SDSS, this appears to be a brighter region at the root of a spiral arm that curls sharply to the north. A mag 13.6 star is 1.4' E.
