400/500mm - 18" (8/31/11): faint, small, elongated 2:1 WNW-ESE, 0.4'x0.2'. A mag 14 star is just off the north edge and a mag 12.5 star is 1.1' south. UGC 1198 lies 25' NE. Observed as part of my "Polar Cap Galaxies" project.
