600/800mm - 24" (7/9/13): first in a linear trio with fainter CGCG 275-028 3' E and NGC 6090 5.6' E. Fairly faint, moderately large, oval 4:3 NNW-SSE, 40"x30", weak concentration. Largest in trio but lower surface brightness than NGC 6090. The redshift of UGC 10261 is over twice that of NGC 6090 and CGCG 275-028.
