Édouard Stephan discovered NGC 6350 = St XI-57, along with NGC 6348, on 29 Jun 1880. His position is accurate.

400/500mm - 17.5" (8/1/89): fairly faint, small, round, bright core, faint stellar nucleus. Forms a pair with NGC 6348 4.9' SW. Located 10' S of TX Herculis.
