Albert Marth discovered NGC 6282 = m 330 on 28 Jun 1864 and noted "vF, S, R." His position is accurate.
400/500mm - 17.5" (7/1/89): faint, very small, irregularly round, no concentration. A mag 15 star is attached at the east end. Forms a pair with UGC 10654 7' SSW.
600/800mm - 24" (7/15/15): fairly faint to moderately bright, fairly small, roundish, 25" diameter, even surface brightness. A mag 15 star is at the east edge [0.4' from center]. Forms a pair with UGC 10654 6.2' SSW.
