Édouard Stephan discovered NGC 60 = St XII-4 on 2 Nov 1882 with the 31" reflector at the Marseille Observatory and recorded "eeF; vS; R; lbM." His position matches UGC 150 = PGC 1058.

400/500mm - 17.5" (8/20/88): extremely faint, small, round. A mag 15 star is off the west edge. Located 17' due east of mag 8 SAO 128658.
