400/500mm - 17.5" (5/15/99): faint, fairly small, elongated 2:1 WSW-ENE, 0.8'x0.4'. A mag 14.5 star is at the following edge just 20" from the center. Located 2.6' ENE of a mag 11 star. NGC 5514 lies 13.5' NW.
