NGC 5334 is a face-on spiral galaxy in the constellation Virgo. It is a member of the Virgo III Groups, a series of galaxies and galaxy clusters strung out to the east of the Virgo Supercluster of galaxies.
400/500mm - 17.5" (5/11/96): faint, large, diffuse glow, elongated 4:3 N-S, ~3.0'x2.4', low even surface brightness. A mag 15 star is 2' SW of center. Located 3.2' N of a mag 10 star and 35' NW of mag 5.2 90 Virginis. NGC 5345 lies 28' SE.
