John Herschel discovered NGC 3767 = h924 on 17 Mar 1831 and simply noted "vF; S; bM." His position matches UGC 6590.
400/500mm - 17.5" (5/4/02): fairly faint, small, slightly elongated E-W, 25"x20" diameter, fairly high surface brightness (core only viewed?). A mag 14 star lies 2.3' SW of center.
