400/500mm - 17.5" (3/22/96): very faint, very small, round, 20" diameter. A mag 14 star is 1.2' E of center. Forms a pair with NGC 3477 3.7' SSE. There is faint pair of mag 14.5/15 stars 1.5' SSE at 14" separation which appeared nebulous at first glance.
