400/500mm - 17.5" (3/20/93): fairly faint, fairly small, round, gradually increases to a small bright core. Located just 1' SW of mag 9 SAO 197461 and 6' SE of mag 7.1 SAO 197448. Also mag 8.7 SAO 197447 lies 7' WNW.
