Stephane Javelle discovered IC 368 = J. 1-123 on 15 Oct 1891. His position is accurate.
600/800mm - 24" (1/28/17): at 282x; fairly faint, fairly small, round, 25"-30" diameter, slightly brighter core, faint stellar nucleus. A 9' chain of mag 11.5-14 stars oriented SW-NE extends across the east side at 200x (13mm Ethos).
