Stephane Javelle discovered IC 367 = J. 1-122 on 7 Dec 1891 and recorded "pB, pL, diffuse." His position matches MCG -02-12-001 = PGC 14917.

600/800mm - 24" (1/28/17): at 282x; fairly faint, fairly small, very elongated 3:1 NW-SE, 45"x15", slightly brighter along the spine of the central part of the major axis. Located 16' SE of mag 7.8 HD 27499.
